Arbitration Information

Filing for Arbitration

 

Before you file an Arbitration Request, please read What You Should Know About Arbitration.

The Clark County Association of REALTORS® (CCAR) can provide you with information on the procedures for filing an arbitration request by calling the Association directly. Or you may proceed with filing an arbitration request by completing the following steps:

1 Requests for arbitration must be filed with the Clark County Association of REALTORS® within one hundred eighty (180) days after the closing of the transaction, if any, or within one hundred eighty (180) days after the facts constituting the arbitrable matter could have been known in the exercise of reasonable diligence, whichever is later.
 
2 The Request and Agreement to Arbitrate Form must accompany your written complaint. Click here to download form A-1 (PDF: 92KB). The A-1 must be signed by the complainant, must indicate the nature of the dispute and the amount in dispute, and must be accompanied by the required deposit of $250 for the arbitration filing deposit.
 
3 Send all materials, keeping a copy for yourself to:
