Do local dues pay for all the Board Social Events?
No. All fun and social events either pay for them-selves or make a profit which then returns to the General Fund to help keep dues down.

What do local dues pay for?
Rent, utilities, phone, event coordination, accounting, public relations, grievance & arbitration procedures, school administration, membership maintenance, staff, etc...

What is the Property Rights Fund?
A fund established for use to support issues related to private property rights preservation and other related issues. Money has been used from this fund for such cases as: to support the rights of those living in the Columbia River Gorge; to oppose zoning regulations which reduce property values; to encourage just compensation for school projects relating to the value of home ownership; and to assist with legal fees for REALTORS® or others fighting battles which have a precedent setting impact on our business.

When should I expect to receive an invoice for dues each year?
Each October bills are sent to you who and you have until January 1 to pay the full amount. If you do not receive a bill in October, you need to contact the CCAR office.

Why can’t I pay my dues on an installment basis or half yearly?
Because the state and national associations require full payment in January, if each agent paid only half their yearly dues, we would be left with no operating funds for six months. New for 2004, invoices will be sent early enough that you may make installments up to December 31, 2003 but all monies must be paid by January 1, 2004.

Can I pay my dues with a charge card?
Credit Cards (Visa, MC and Amex) are acceptable over the phone, in the office, or online (see CCAR Member Services Quick Link).

Step 2: Pay the amount on your invoice by January 1st. You can make installments up to December 31, but all monies are due on January 1! If you do not pay by the end of January, you will be subject to late fees.
