The Association Executive (AE) is the Chief Executive Officer of CCAR. The AE is appointed by and serves at the pleasure the President and Board of Directors (BOD). The AE acts as the general manager of the Association and employs and supervises a professional Staff (listed below) to operate the CCAR office and coordinate all business activities. In consultation with the President, BOD and Committee Chairs, the AE and Staff support REALTOR® and Affiliate members in a wide range of programs to elevate the profession, benefit the membership and defend the rights of property owners. The AE serves a resource on Association rules and procedures and as a liaison with Washington REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

The government affairs director (GAD) is the information resource officer and liaison between CCAR and local, state and federal officials and agencies. The GAD researches public policy issues and, in consultation with the AE, advises the BOD and membership on political trends and government activities that may impact the business of REALTORS® and the right to own, use and enjoy private property. Jim coordinates the annual Washington “Hill Day” and is the staff manager for the work of the Governmental Affairs, RPAC and Housing Affordability Committees.

Michele is responsible for the administration of CCAR's Education Program, providing REALTOR® members with continuing education classes for license renewal and skills enhancement as approved by the Education Committee. She oversees planning and arrangements for numerous items on the CCAR Calendar including general membership meetings and special activities. She also supports the work of the Communications, Programs, Membership, Orientation, Golf, Tradeshow and Bowling Committees. In association with the AE, Michele employs her media and hospitality industry skills to advance CCAR marketing efforts via the Update, email, fax and website. .She also helps oversees staff and office operations as the chief lieutenant to the AE. Michele’s assignments support the social and professional relations promoted by CCAR, providing the membership with entertainment and information. She also assists with the charitable projects of the CCAR Foundation.
Charlene Kohls

Charlene manages the CCAR “front office” and is one of two staff members responsible for processing new member applications and updating membership records. She greets callers to the CCAR switchboard, assists members making purchases at the REALTOR® Store, and registers members for events. Charlene also oversees the workroom inventory of legal forms and office supplies, and the duplication, postage and fax machines. She is truly the CCAR “Director of First Impressions” and facilitates all operations of the Association. In addition, Charlene handles accounts receivable and payable.

Erika staffs the CCAR front office and her duties largely overlap and compliment those of Charlene: taking membership applications, updating records and handling event registrations. Charlene performs the varied duties of the workroom and she directs callers and visitors to the Staff member assigned for a range of member services. Erika supports the general clerical work of the BOD and all CCAR Committees. As the Association's Professional Standards Assistant, Erika is also responsible for managing the agendas of the Ethics and Professional Standards Committees, and serves as the contact for processing Code of Ethics complaints and Arbitration requests.
